# Securing our people

Upon hire, we perform background checks on all full-time employees at Jori, as well as contractors or other external representatives, with access to sensitive content. Our background checks confirm:

* employment verification
* national criminal search
* sex offender registry search
* SSN trace
* global watchlist search
* Fraud Abuse Control Information System (FACIS) search

We conduct all these checks annually, except for employment verifications.
